Winter Cave

This week Reception have started to explore their new theme winter. The snow, ice and rain really helped them to investigate and explore winter hands on! We talked about the seasons and weather and the children were confident sharing how they keep warm in the winter whilst using new vocabulary to describe the weather such as freezing, icicles, blizzard and hailstones. Take a look at some of the fun activities they have been enjoying this week which include giant snowball games, winter fine motor activities and creating icicles!
