31 children from Year 5 & 6 had a fantastic time at the school’s residential trip to Borrowdale in the Lake District.
They took part in a variety of activities including rock climbing, kayaking and ghyll scrambling.
The youngsters, and teachers, really pushed themselves to the limits in the Lake District sun, during the 3 day visit.
The children really made the most of their opportunities, challenging themselves to overcome some of their fears.
Our lead instructor Chris also gave us a special talk about the Mountain Rescue Service, which he helps to run over in Keswick.
A number of members of the public commented on the fantastic behaviour of the children, including one who emailed the school saying, ‘The children were a real credit to their school, families and themselves.”
