Y6 visit Safetyworks

Year 6 had a fantastic morning learning how to stay safe in a variety of different real-life scenarios.
Safetyworks, run by Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, gave children the opportunity to practice skills such as road safety, how to use the metro, being web-safe and how to prevent fires in the home.
In addition, they learnt how to approach dogs in the correct manner and taking care around water.
The children loved the chance to act out each scene and found the experience invaluable.
