Year 3 Summer Trip top Broxfield Farm!

Year 3 had a wonderful time today at Broxfield farm in Northumberland. It was amazing to go back to visit the farm in the summer to see how much it has changed since the Autumn. We started the day by going into the oat fields and even saw the beginning of Mr Thompson’s need batch of pumpkins, which should be ripe by Halloween. We then had an exciting tractor ride into a field of cows, we saw mother cows feeding their baby calves! This was so exciting as we didn’t see calves in the autumn, as they are born in the spring. Finally ventured into the forest to create our own forest creatures and fairy houses for them to live in
