Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly and Blessing

We were delighted to be joined by parents and carers of Year 6 to share a special Assembly dedicated to all our memories of our time at St Lawrence’s. Later in the day, we were joined by Father Jonathan who gave a special blessing to the class. We too part in a Celebration of the Word which took Isaiah 27: 6 as our text:

Lord, you make the path smooth for good people;     the road they travel is level. We follow your will and put our hope in you;     you are all that we desire.

Lord, you are the source of all that is good.

We pray for Year 6 as they prepare to leave St Lawrence’s to join their high schools. May the always demonstrate the Christian values of kindness, tolerance and respect that are central to our school.
