We had a fantastic day in school celebrating Careers Day. We loved dressing up in clothes to reflect what we would like to be when we grow up and thoroughly enjoyed our visits from people in different jobs in society.
Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 were visited by a policeman and a fire fighter and got to dress up in their uniform and ask them questions about their jobs.
Here are Reception talking about what they would like to be when they grow up.
Year 1 were so excited when they came to school dressed in their special outfits.
Year 2 had some great questions for their visitors.
Year 3 were visited by a Healthcare Assistant working for the NHS, a policeman and had a Zoom meeting with the actor and playwright, Tom Whalley.
Here are Year 4 meeting a solicitor, two doctors, an art gallery curator and a policeman via Zoom.
We had a great day finding out about different jobs and thinking about our own skills and talents and the kinds of jobs that we would be suited to.
