Fun with Magnets in Year 3!

In Year 3 we are exploring ‘Forces and Magnets’ in Science this term. Today we had an activity carousel where we got to handle and use different types of magnets. We looked at: horseshoe magnets, button magnets and bar magnets. We looked at different metals that were attracted to magnets and which were not. We also thought about how magnets are used at home; we looked at some toys that contain magnets, watch straps and door catches.
