Jubilee Year: We open our Holy Door

We held a special assembly this year to launch the Jubilee Year in school. Pope Francis has given this Jubilee the theme ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ – we are asked to walk with Jesus to help make the world a better place. A key symbol of the Jubilee is the Holy Door – we stepped through the door today as a symbol of the beginning of our spiritual pilgrimage.

We are using this Jubilee year to inspire our work towards the CAFOD Live Simply award, helping us to work for a better world at school, in our community and across the world.
