Our KS2 choir were invited to Lawson House Care Home on Monday 15 January. They performed a variety of Christmas Carols and songs to the residents. Their singing was so brilliant that they were treated to a hot chocolate afterwards!

All of residents were very impressed and moved with the singing. Mrs Robson and Mrs O’Hara were incredibly proud of all of the singers.

Afterwards, the choir handed out Christmas cards which they made and spent some time with the residents. They discovered that one resident had been a pupil at St Lawrence’s when she was a little girl! Other children across school made Christmas cards too and they were left to give to the other residents who aren’t able to leave their rooms easily.

It was a wonderful Christmas celebration and the choir spread lots of festive cheer.
