Literacy trip for Year 6 to Seven Stories.

Year 6 spent the morning being inspired by local author David Almond.

Pupils have been studying his award winning book Skellig and visited an exhibition about the writer at Seven Stories museum.

They saw his original writing manuscripts and learnt about his inspirations.

Year 6 had a look at lots of his other stories before attempting themselves to invent a new character.
