Harvest Time in Reception
This week, our Reception children have been busy celebrating Harvest through lots of exciting activities! We explored a variety of vegetables, looking closely at their shapes, colours, and sizes. The children enjoyed weighing them and then used their observations to create beautiful paintings, thinking carefully about colour and detail. Autumn Writing in Reception
This week, our Reception children truly impressed us with their phonics skills and lovely writing! As part of our autumn theme, the children explored seasonal objects like leaves, conkers, and pinecones, and used their phonics knowledge to identify and record the initial sounds of each one.
