Newcastle Libraries Summer Reading Challenge

All of the children took part in an assembly today from Newcastle Children’s Libraries today about their Summer Reading Challenge and the events happening in libraries across the city.

The Summer Reading Challenge encourages children to be creative throughout the summer holidays – while keeping up their reading too, of course! Children will earn stickers for borrowing books and taking part in creative challenges – 5 stickers earns you a certificate (and a point towards the school trophy) and 7 stickers will give you an entry into our prize draw. Children can visit their local library to get their library card and take part in the challenge from 13th July. See what’s happening and book events: www.tiny.cc/summerreading24
