Opening of our new School Library.

Today we ‘officially’ opened our brand new school library.  Mr Brown cut the ribbon, watched by our School Council members and Head Boy and Girl.  Afterwards the children in every class had the opportunity to visit and explore our collection of high quality texts.  All children received sweets and a bookmark to celebrate the opening.  We are very grateful to Harry’s Mam in Y3, who kindly donated the balloons for our celebration.

At St Lawrence’s, we love Reading and firmly believe it is the key to all knowledge and learning.  We have some exciting projects and activities planned with our fantastic library in the future.  watch this space…
