Perfect Poetry Performances!

Year 5 have been working super hard in English lessons this week.  Our writing focus is poetry and we have been exploring ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas’.  Working in groups, we were given the task of memorising, acting out and reciting two verses from the poem to the class. I was super impressed with how well the children recited their poems, ensuring to perform with excellent intonation, tone and volume.
