Rainbow Room trip to Ouseburn Farm

We were excited to travel by minibus to the farm. Once inside, we enjoyed exploring all the different animals including pigs, goats, sheep, hens, ducks, rabbits, snakes, guinea pigs and many, many more! We all completed an animal treasure hunt and counted how many of each animal we could see. We listened carefully to the noises the animals make and identified which sounds belonged to which animals. Some children were brave enough to touch the animals! We went on a little walk over the river to the grazing fields where we each had a turn feeding the sheep.

It was then time for a rest and to eat our picnic. We finished the trip singing songs and listening to a story all about farm animals!

We all had a brilliant time. We are very grateful to parents who were able to join us on our trip and share in the excitement of being at the farm!
