Special Books in Year 2

Year 2 have been learning all about different genres of books during this half term.

We enjoyed visiting our class and school Libraries and reading lots of different stories.

We visited Church and looked at the different books that are used in Church. Father Shaun told us what all of the books are used for.

We were all very interested  to look at another Holy Islamic book; the Quran; this is a beautiful book.

As part of National Story Telling week Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a Traditional Tales reading carousel, we listened to lots of different Traditional Tales. We read the Traditional Tales ourselves.
