University Challenge

Year 6 spent a fantastic morning thinking about their ideal university course and where they might study when they are older.

The children looked through dozens of prospectuses from sites across the UK to get a feel for the 52,000 different subjects that are now available to be studied in Higher Education.

They discussed the emotional side of potentially going away from home – with some more keen than others!

Finally they presented their ambitions to the group and explained their choices.  We agreed that we were very lucky to have the wonderful Newcastle and Northumbria Universities in our home cities.
