Today we took part in a liturgy to celebrate our RE topic, Ourselves. Over the topic, we have thought about the question ‘Who Am I?’ We have learnt that we are all different, with different qualities and talents that make us unique.
We gathered in a circle, with a cross and candle at the centre.
We listened to two important readings: You Are A Holy People from Colossians 3:12-17 and the poem Footprints. We chose these readings because they reminded us that we are all unique and special and God loves us equally.
We took a moment to quietly reflect on our unique own talents and qualities and shared pieces of work from the topic that we feel represents our uniqueness.
We finished the liturgy considering an important message. ‘We are all unique; we have our own unique qualities and talents and we are all special in the eyes of God.’
