Y1 Visit to Shipley Art Gallery

As part of our art curriculum, we have been learning about sculpture. We booked a trip to the Shipley Art Gallery to find out more!

We spent the morning finding out about the sculpture, ‘The Angel of the North’ by the artist, Antony Gormley. We then went on to create our own using different materials. During the afternoon session, the children made mosaic tiles using clay.
