Y4 visit to Woodhorn Museum

Year 4 had a fantastic visit to the Woodhorn Colliery Museum as part of our Changing Jobs topic in Humanities.

We were able to get dressed as miners…

go crawling around in the tunnels…

and learn about how dangerous it could be to work down the mines.

The children had a superb day and learned lots to take back into the classroom.
