Year 1 - History visit

Year 1 had a visit from 'That History Bloke' who came in and worked with the children around Victorian's toys. First, the children learned about what life was like for children during the Victorian era and some were able to try on old Victorian clothes. Then, they looked at toys from the past and talk about how they worked and what they were made out of. The children got an opportunity to explore a variety of different toys and they found it really interesting comparing old toys to the ones in the classroom.
