Year 1 – Autumn 1 Music

This half term, Year 1 have been learning the song, ‘Hey You!’. It involves rap verses as well as singing verses. Year 1 learnt this song really quickly and have been very enthusiastic whilst performing this song. This term were have also learnt how to play the glockenspiel. We have learnt where the notes are and how to use the beaters. We have then played the glockenspiels with our Hey You song. Alongside this song we have been singing other songs such as Mamma don’t allow, which has been exploring instruments and the sounds they make. Miss Hedley, Music Partnership North
