Year 3 Leading Mass at St Lawrence’s Church.

Today we lead and presented Mass in church for the very first time. Year 3 do not normally lead Mass so early in the school year, however we are such a sensible and mature class we decided to give it a go! We sang our hymns, ‘Abba Father,’ and ‘Give Me Joy In My Heart,’ beautifully. Every child played an active role, either by taking on a reading, bringing forward the Offertory or a revenant part of the congregation. We invited our adults to come and be a part of the congregation, so many came it was so joyous to have them join us in prayer. All readers read beautifully and represented our class wonderfully. A big thank you for all our adults who came to support us!
