Year 6 Into University Workshop – Day 2

Year 6 had another brilliant day with Into University.

We looked at some artefacts from World War 2 and thought about what they might have been used for. We put ourselves in the shoes of evacuees and thought about what we would take with us in our suitcase.

We displayed some excellent teamworking skills by creating some exciting posters about key individuals in World War 2 including Anne Frank, Alan Turing and Violette Szabo.

We also had a discussion with a former Newcastle University student about what life is like at university.
