Year 6 Science Trip

Year 6 spent a wonderful day exploring the Centre for life. The children, who went as part of the IntoUniversity project, looked at
different aspects of science, in particular Space.
They had the opportunity to visit the Planetarium as well as look at how the human brain functions.
The scheme, sponsored by Newcastle and Northumbria Universities, is designed to show children what it is like to take part in Higher Education. St Lawrence’s have worked around the theme of engineering and its impact on our lives.
