Anti-Bullying Week in Year 1

Year 1 came to school wearing odd socks to kickstart our learning in ‘Anti-bullying Week’. We talked about the reason we were wearing odd socks and discussed how we are all unique and special in our own individual way. We listened to the story, ‘Simon Sock’ and then went on to design our own pairs of odd socks.

Throughout the week, we have talked about how we can be a good friend and the special qualities a good friend has. We then went on to design a superhero with the super powers that would be found in a good friend. Look at some of our designs below.
