Fantastic Football Team

St Lawrence’s football team enjoyed a wonderful set of results in their latest tournament.

They drew against St Aidan’s of Wallsend and then their Ashington namesake before defeating local rivals St Alban’s 2-1 in a hard-fought match.

The performances were all the more impressive considering they were two nil down in their first match within the first minute.

The team showed amazing resilience and determination to stick together and turn things round.
