General Election 2019 in Year 3

Today we discussed the 2019 General Election in Year 3 and even had our own election! We discussed the topic of democracy and what it meant to have the right to vote. We looked at the three main policies and looked at child friendly versions of each manifesto. We watched reports from Newsround which showed us how to cast our vote in a polling station. What a fun afternoon we had!
