John the Baptist Drama in Year 2!

Today we role played the Gospel of Matthew 3:13-17, the story of John the Baptist. We realised we had kind of met John before, when we learned The Visitation story before Christmas, and John’s mum Elizabeth was pregnant at the same time as Mary was with Jesus! Today we talked about Matthew 3:13-17, when John baptised Jesus in the River Jordan. We wondered about how John and Jesus felt.
