Nursery celebrate Anti- Bullying Week

This week in Nursery we have had fun celebrating Anti-Bullying week with the theme ‘One Kind Word’. We all wore odd socks to school on Monday to celebrate our differences.  The children enjoyed listening to the story ‘Simon’s Sock’ by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet and they designed their own unique socks!  We discussed using kind words to make the world a better place before each choosing one kind word to say about somebody else.  We then talked about how these words made us feel.  The children also spent time designing their own super hero which they chose a special name for as well as a ‘kindness’ super power to go with it.  Well done Nursery!
