Safety Works visit

Year 6 got the opportunity to learn about keeping safe in the community during their fantastic trip to Safety Works.

The children met with members of Northumbria Police, Tyne & Wear Fire Service, Nexus and St John’s Ambulance, amongst others, to get practical tips on how stay safe.

This included basic First Aid, how to prevent fires in the home, ensuring they use the Metro correctly and what happens to children who break the law.
