Technology Tom in Year 2

Technology Tom visited Year 2 today as part of our work on Materials in Science.
We looked at lots of different types of materials and talked about their origins and their uses.
We tested out the strength of paper;
We made a paper tower and then removed some of the towers.
We enjoyed making bridges as part of our work about the Roman wall. We made towers and cranes. We designed Roman soldiers.
What a fantastic day and we learnt such a lot.
