WBD in Year 3, Pugs of the Frozen North

This year for World Book Day, Mrs Garforth looked at ‘Pugs of the Frozen North,’ by Philip Reeve and Sarah McIntyre. Each class from Year 3, Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 learnt a little bit about the fantastic story about Shen and Sika and a pug-pulled sleigh ride to the North Pole! We thought about the different sleigh teams and even predicted the outcome of the race. We then designed our own sleigh!
