To end our work on WWII this term, we enjoyed a workshop led by Richard from http://www.thathistorybloke.co.uk/
We explored a variety of different WWII objects, using them to determine what type of person the owner would be and what their experiences of war would have been. We were all flummoxed by the baby gas mask!
In the second part of the workshop, Richard showed us the different types of planes used by Germany and Britain. We played a ‘plane spotting’ game – just like children did during WWII.
