Year 2 learn about The Great Fire of Newcastle.

Year 2 visited The Discovery Museum to take part in a workshop about The Great Fire of Newcastle.

We were able to handle lots of artifacts from the Victorian era and we acted out the events of The Great Fire.

When we got back to school we made up a drama about the events and wrote a recount of the Great Fire.
