Year 2 Mock Baptism at St Lawrence’s Church with Father Shaun.

This morning, we were very lucky to experience a Mock Baptism at St Lawrence’s Church with our Parish Priest, Father Shaun. It was such an amazing experience, not only to see the Baptism but also to have time in church to talk to Father Shaun and ask him questions. Hetty and Johan played the roles of Mammy and Daddy and Willow and Oliver played the godparents. Father Shaun talked us through the stages of the Baptism, highlighting the important signs and symbols including the white garment, the font, the holy water and the oil.
