Year 2 Visit The Discovery Museum

Year 2 enjoyed a fabulous trip to The Discovery Museum today.
In the morning we had an exciting time in The Science Exhibition trying out all of the wonderful experiments.
We all enjoyed the lovely lunches that Gillian made for us.
In the afternoon we took part in a History workshop about the Great Fire of Newcastle and Gateshead.
We enjoyed getting dressed up in Victorian clothes.
We handled real artefacts from the Victorian era and we acted out a puppet show about the events of the Great Fire.
What a fantastic day and we all learnt such a lot.
