Year 2 visited Beanley Farm near Alnwick as part of our Geography work this term. We compared the environment with that of the city.
We enjoyed collecting lots of different types of leaves.
Robert; the shepherd told us all about how he looks after the 200 sheep on the Farm.
We had a race in the big field.
We saw the wheat which had been harvested from the fields and we used a special mill to grind the seeds to make flour.
We had to walk carefully over the Trip Trap Bridge incase there was a Troll underneath it!
It was a wonderful day!
