Year 3 Trip to Broxfield Farm!

Year 3 had a wonderful time today at Broxfield farm in Northumberland. It was our first trip since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. We started the day by going on a tractor ride into a field of cows! We then ventured into the fields and saw learnt how a combine harvester cuts the ears of wheat ready to be processed. We had a go at extracting the seeds itself – Mr Thompson made it look easy! Finally we had a treasure hunt in the woods! All children behaved wonderfully and made us all very proud.
