Year 6 paint like Turner

To celebrate the arrival of JMW Turner’s ‘The Fighting Temeraire’ at Newcastle’s Laing art gallery, Year 6 researched Turner’s watercolour ‘The Sun at Venice’ and tried their hands at producing a watercolour of school with some of Turner’s sense of light. As you’ll agree, the results are hugely impressive!
