Chinese New Year 2022 in Year 3

We have had a fantastic time learning about Chinese New Year! We learnt about the country of China, and located it on a map of the world. We learnt about Chinese culture, played with Chinese Tangrams (jigsaws) and finally learn about the classic story of the Race of the Animals. We had so much fun acting out the story of Chinese New Year! We went into groups, each playing a role of narrator or one of the animals. We even had masks to really get into character!
