Reception Autumn Experience at the Lighthouse Project

Reception children had a magical afternoon exploring autumn during a special experience at The Lighthouse Project. 

We began by collecting leaves of all shapes, sizes, and colours—from fiery reds to golden yellows and crunchy browns.

The children were fascinated by the variety and loved comparing their finds with friends. It was a brilliant opportunity to talk about seasonal changes and observe the signs of autumn all around us. Next, we played some exciting outdoor games that got everyone moving and laughing. 

To finish off our afternoon, we gathered together for a lovely sing-song in nature, the children sang beautifully and shared in the joy of being outdoors.
