Year 2 working hard at home during lockdown.

Year 2 have continued to work really hard during their time at home and they have been sending in some lovely photographs.

This week we have been reading The Owl Who Was Afraid of the Dark by Jill Tomlinson.

All of our Literacy work this week has been linked to this text and the children have produced some super pieces of work.

The children have also produced some wonderful art work depicting Plop; the main character in the story.

In maths this week we have continued to practise our times  tables and we have completed work on addition and subtraction problems.

We are also trying hard with our Science and History activities

The children are still enjoying playing safely in their own garden.
