<p>Byker Sands Sleep Workshop &nbsp; Byker Sands are offering free Sleep Programme workshops. They are drop-ins and completely free. They can offer support and give practical advice with any sleep issues you may have at home. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Pupils and carers from Year 5 and 6 listened to a talk in the hall about how children can stay safe online. Internet safety consultant Daniel Tolan explained how families can best to keep youngsters safe and what children should do if there is a problem. <p>We know that all of our parents and carers have very busy lives and can often find it difficult to get to libraries or bookshops to buy books for themselves. We have therefore created a Parent Library in the reception area. There are a variety of books which have been kindly donated by parents and [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Year 3 have been producing some superb work this week from home! We have been looking at telling the time in maths, different word families in literacy, practising our 2s, 5s, 10s, 3s and 4s times tables and produced some imaginative writing about snowy and icy weather.Well done, Year 3! <p>Today we enjoyed working in small groups to produce a presentation all about a piece of natural geography in London, the River Thames. We researched using the internet, books and fact sheets and collated our ideas on sugar paper. We then took it in turns in our groups to present our ideas to the class.</p>

<p>Today we lead and presented Mass in church for the very first time. Our reading of the day was from Ephesians 1:1-10. All readers read beautifully and the whole class represented our school wonderfully.</p>
