Year 2 visit St Lawrence’s Park
<p>Year 2 visited St Lawrence’s Park to help with the regeneration of St Lawrence’s Park in Byker. We helped to clear a large flower bed and we planted some seeds. We are looking forward to monitoring the growth of our seeds over the next few weeks.</p>

Saving Energy!
<p>Our Eco Squad continue to remind us how important it is to save energy. They regularly check the school building and record the most energy efficient classrooms….and the least! Make sure you are saving energy!</p>

Making Bird Feeders
<p>Some of our Eco Squad members made bird feeders for our garden. They mixed lard with bird seed and put the mixture into recycled yoghurt pots. When the mixture had set, they hung the feeders in our school garden. Our next project is to make a bug hotel so watch this space!</p>
