<p>We have produced our own volcano art using tiny pieces of volcanic coloured tissue paper (red, yellow, orange and white for smoke). With a gold pen outline, we traced the shape of our volcanic mountain onto black paper to show a contrast of colours.</p>

<p>In Geography we are studying Extreme Earth (Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Tornados). This week we looked at Volcanoes and even recreated our own volcano eruption! Miss O&#8217;Hare demonstrated a volcano eruption by mixing baking powder, red food colouring and vinegar. It was very exciting! &nbsp;</p>

We have been learning about reproduction in plants and found out that a flower has both male and female parts. <p>This week, Nurture Group are learning how to work with clay and clay tools to create a nature themed medallion. The children searched the yard for signs of Spring and chose items from nature that would make interesting imprints in their work. We will show you the finished products next week!</p>

<p>Did you know that rainbows are actually circles? Last week, Nurture Group were learning about the conditions needed for  rainbows to appear and what happens as the sunlight hits the rain drops. Pupils then made their own artistic interpretations of rainbows for a display. They were beautiful!</p>
