Bird Box Building
<p>This week in our weekly nurture group, we have been learning about birds and their life cycle. We learnt how to use a hammer and nails safely to construct our own bird box which will be going up in the school grounds. Hopefully some birds will nest in it over the next few years! </p>

Sketching Our School Landscape
<p>As part of our art work focusing upon the artist, John Constable, we talked about our own school landscape and what we could see in the distance. We then went on to sketch the school landscape which included trees, buildings and fencing using light pencil strokes. </p>

Printing with Leaves
<p>We selected leaves from our school environment and carefully applied different coloured paints with a paintbrush to the underside of the leaves. Pressing firmly, we printed the leaf revealing its shape and veins.</p>
