<p>EYFS and KS1 had a fun filled afternoon yesterday to mark the end of a very successful year. We played party games and enjoyed dancing. We even had a Strictly Come Dancing Competition! We ended by eating some delicious party food. What a wonderful end to a super year! &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>

<p>Early Years and Key Stage 1 had a fantastic visit to Northumberland Park yesterday. We all travelled together on two buses to Tynemouth. We started by having juice and biscuits together before we embarked on a carousel of exciting activities. We enjoyed collecting items from the environment and doing observational drawings. Everyone had great fun [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Early Years and Key Stage 1 too part in their Sports day today. We all put on our team colours and enjoyed all of the games in our teams. It was lovely to see all of our parents cheering us on. We all enjoyed a well earned ice lolly at the end! At the end [&hellip;]</p>

<p>&nbsp; This Sunday 11 children from Year 4 received communion for the first time at St Lawrence&#8217;s Church. They were supported by a large number of their friends and teachers from school who sang in the choir. This was a memorable occasion for the school and the parish. The children performed a beautiful Liturgical dance to [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Year 1 and Year 2 enjoyed a Teddy Bear Picnic on Wednesday 23rd May to celebrate their teddy bear reading initiative. Every child has read 20 books or more since the initiative began in January. We decided to give our picnic a royal theme to celebrate the Royal Wedding. We dressed up as Princes and Princesses [&hellip;]</p>

<p>ANGELICAALFIE IMG_5011 Year 2 visited Ouseburn Farm as part of our Outdoor Learning Day. We enjoyed feeding the farm animals and planting seeds. We also visited Stepney Banks Stables and watched a horse display. It was an amazing day and we learnt such a lot.</p>

<p>Reception Class, Year 1 and Year 2 got a lovely  surprise after lunch today; the Easter bunny had  visited school and had hidden some Easter eggs! We all had a great time hopping around the yard like bunnies to look for them. What a lovely end to our Spring Term! &nbsp;</p>

<p>We were happy to invite Mrs Cooper back to school to take part in our Prayer Spaces week. Mrs Cooper planned a fascinating Godly Play experience for every class in the school.
