Clay Stone Henge Models in Year 3.
<p>We followed instructions and looked at photographs to create our one model of Stone Henge. We discussed the different features of the structure including the Altar Stone to wonder and explore reasons for building such a structure. We wondered how people during this time were able to carry such heavy stones.</p>

Now Press Play – Rocks in Year 3!
<p>We had another exciting experience today with Now Press Play. We experienced life as an alien visiting planet earth. We learnt all about the different types of rock on earth. We were even able to go backwards and forwards in time to see how rocks are formed.</p>

Brush Up Dental Visit in Y4
<p>Year 4 were lucky to be visited by Brush Up from Newcastle University as part of our Humans and other Living Things unit in Science. They taught us interesting facts about looking after our teeth, the amount of sugar in different foods and the equipment a dentist uses. </p>

<p>Today we enjoyed a fabulous story writing workshop. We worked with a team of writers, illustrators, directors and playwrights to create our own story. We had such a wonderful time and impressed the editor! She even published our book!</p>

A Stone Age Adventure in Year 3!
<p>We really enjoyed our first Now Press Play experience. We experienced a day in the Stone Age; we ventured through a flint mine, shot a bow and arrow, completed a cave painting and saved our family from a woolly mammoth.</p>

Children in Need
<p>Our children all made a great effort to raise money for Children in Need. They came dressed up as Pudsey, in spots or simply in their own clothes. The school raised over £125 for Children in Need through our non-uniform day. Well done everyone!</p>
