Volcano Art in Year 3!
<p>We have produced our own volcano art using tiny pieces of volcanic coloured tissue paper (red, yellow, orange and white for smoke). With a gold pen outline, we traced the shape of our volcanic mountain onto black paper to show a contrast of colours.</p>

Volcano Eruptions In Year 3!
<p>In Geography we are studying Extreme Earth (Volcanoes, Earthquakes, Tsunamis and Tornados). This week we looked at Volcanoes and even recreated our own volcano eruption! Miss O’Hare demonstrated a volcano eruption by mixing baking powder, red food colouring and vinegar. It was very exciting! </p>

<p>Year 3 have worked really hard this afternoon sorting rocks into the following groups; sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic. We considered the properties of each rock and discussed in groups to help us to sort. It has been lots of fun to do practical jobs around this topic.</p>
